Poundland Find: Get Fresh Naked Minty Menthol Body Wash

Beauty

It’s very rare that I buy cosmetics and bodycare from Poundland but when you see one of your favourite brands in there, it’s hard to resist.  I found this in the Poundland in Scarborough after many a tip off on Twitter about Naked products in Poundland. This shower gel smells like liquid soft mints in a bottle, with a side dish of gentle tingling and cooling.  It can either wake you up in the morning or relax you in the evening; I find the smell to be quite mild and surprisingly not overwhelmingly pungent considering it’s 97% natural.   I …

ECOTOOLS Cellulose Facial Sponges

Beauty

I thought I would do a rather quick and snappy post about a new addition to my skincare routine – the ECOTOOLS Cellulose Facial Sponges.  I received a sample of Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask with a Cleanse and Polish purchase.  With that, came some facial sponges that you were encouraged to remove the product with.  I was hooked.  I began to use the sponges for other products (and the Liz Earle mask has been shunned to the back of the cupboard). During my cruelty free month I was racing around Boots, excusing purchases “for the blog” (like we all …

My April Beauty Favourites

Beauty

Choosing my favourites for this month was easy – it was simply the ones I had needed by my side, one way or another… *dramatic music* I went on a small holiday in April for my birthday so I needed to pack light but I also needed things to make me look pretty! First up, it’s the Bioderma Sensibio H20 ツ.  I was very lucky to be sent this and wowza, I can see why it is so hyped! I’m going to post a review of this VERY soon and I’m forewarning you now it’s going to be a rave, not a …

Figs and Rouge Wild Cherry Balm

Put down that Vaseline! They say: Ultra-hydrating & Multi-tasking. Figs and Rouge 100% Natural – Nourishing Balm keeps lips delicious & super soft throughout the day. I say: I had seen Figs and Rouge floating around on a few blogs and it wasn’t long before I had given into the hype. It’s inevitable. There is no point in me attempting to fight it any more. I suffer with dry, scabby, completely unattractive lips and most lip balms just do not work. I’ve tried Blistex, Vaseline (ugh), Chapstick, Nivea… the only one that has worked so far has been my beloved Palmer’s Cocoa …

No.7 Cleansing Brush – First Impressions!

Beauty

You may have seen a mugshot of me t’other day (in England “t’other day” can mean up to a year ago, keep up!) with a sneaky purchase of the No.7 Cleansing Brush.  Released amid a frenzy of hype – was it a dupe of the Clarisonic? – priced at £15 I had to try (as part of my ongoing duty as a beauty blogger!). I’ve literally just used this and I knew I needed to let you guys know what I thought as soon as I got my mitts on my laptop.  A full review of this may take a …
