I’m cracking the whip this month.   I’m going to set myself some serious goals and I’m going to stick to them! *begins inspirational montage*

May Goals - Famous in Japan

BLOG GOALS

BLOG AS MUCH AS I AM ABLE TO

Another goal I am carrying on from previous months.   If I don’t set it as a goal, and make it “official” on my blog , then I will end up either putting so much pressure on myself and burning out, or not blogging at all.  I know, I’m a funny one .  I am going to try to blog as much as I am able to, but also work on my focus and concentration levels.   Like I said in my April Goals – How Did I Do? post, I’m terrible for being distracted.   I need to get out of the habit of checking Twitter every 5 minutes, or browsing the internet aimlessly for hours on end.   This will hopefully mean I can blog more , but without the stress.   We shall see!

PERSONAL GOALS

WORK ON ORGANISATION

I turned 23 last month and I feel it’s time I became more organised as a person.  No, I really mean it this time.  I want to be free from clutter and mess.  I want to be on top of my emails and deadlines.   I’m so serious about this goal I even cancelled Netflix to stop myself procrastinating for hours on end…  after I watched Season 2 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt of course.

CURB THE SPENDING

As I said above, I want to be organised, which means I have to stop it with the unnecessary purchases and hoarding.  I find myself spending too much money on food at work, stationery and books; money I could be saving for holidays or even a house .   I’m going to use May as an opportunity to create a budget for myself and ( hopefully ) get in the routine of sticking to it.  I also need to get into the habit of resisting temptation *blocks Amazon from memory* . Wish me luck!

USE INSTAGRAM MORE

I know, I know, I say this all the time in my “goals” posts but I really do need to start using Instagram more!  It’s such a fun, light hearted platform and it’s a great way to look back at the fun times in your life.  I was looking back through my feed recently and it didn’t take me long to reach the pictures I posted last year that’s how little I’ve used Instagram.  *gasps of horror from the audience*   Here’s hoping May will bring sunny days, and better lighting , for some pictures.

Have you set yourself any goals for May?
