It’s time for my February Goals!  I’ll be honest, these are pretty boring in comparison to my previous goals but hey ho, let’s go .

February Goals - Famous in Japan

Blog Goals

Blog a minimum of 8 times

This month, I really really really want to pick up my novel again.  I’ll explain more in detail below, but put simply it will take up a lot of my time and energy that is otherwise spent on my blog.  However, I don’t want to give up on my blog yet again to do so.   You feel me?    Last month , I enjoyed being able to think and write in coherent sentences and it felt great to be a part of the blogging community once more.

I have decided that this month I am going to blog a minimum of 8 times , on a Monday and Friday.  I may blog more than once (like today!) but as long as I stick to at least one blog post on a Monday and Friday throughout February I will complete this goal .  I should be able to do this!

Personal Goals

Carry on with beauty spending ban

I’m on a bit of a money saving mission at the moment.   I have noticed that by not spending £10 here, and £20 there, on make up I don’t really need has made a huge difference to my bank balance at the end of the month.  It just goes to show how much I used to spend , and that makes me feel very ashamed .  I will keep this thought in mind when I am tempted by the Maybelline stand.

Exercise a little bit

A repeat goal from last month, but this goal is one that I will probably have every month this year.   Possibly even for the rest of my life.   I am terrible for exercising, but I know it’s something I need to do.  I’m not getting any younger, or thinner.  Stairs are becoming harder to climb…

Carry on with my novel again

Another YouTuber book has been announced, and I’m not having it any more.  Regardless of whether they sit down or write it themselves, or use a ghost writer for the entire thing, I’m sick of it.   It’s time for my novel now.    When I participated in NaNoWriMo, I hit 25k words, so I’m not starting a novel entirely from scratch, just continuing where I left off.

Every day since NaNoWriMo ended, my characters and novel have been in my head.  They’re refusing to let me give up on them.  They’re re-imagining scenes, having conversations. (I’m not crazy, honestly).  I’ve had this novel idea for about 2-3 years now; I just need to start believing in myself that I CAN DO IT.  The world needs #MorePeriodsInYAPlz and I am determined to make it happen.

Carry on with attempt to organise

I have books EVERYWHERE.  My wardrobe contains clothes that fitted me when I was a size 6, 15 year old.  They don’t fit me not so much now I am a size 12 22 year old.  *curses the discovery of food*  I also have DVDs that I haven’t watched in years, and beauty products that could do with being thrown out.  Am I officially an adult now?

Have you set yourself any goals for February?

Good luck with your novel, you can do it! I’m putting my name down as the first person to read it by the way – you have no choice in this matter :P Also, we can do the spending ban. WE CAN DO IT!

My goal for this month is to keep on top of university things and remain organised – so write my notes up as soon as possible, and begin making revision notes now instead of two weeks before the exam.
