Hello!  It’s once again time for my monthly   Kawaii Box post.  All my subscription boxes and online orders came in one week, perhaps even all on the same day now that I think about it; I may have made an enemy out of my postman… *gulps*

Kawaii Box 1 - Famous in Japan

Kawaii Box is the cutest monthly subscription service.  Subscribe now and receive a box filled with hand-picked kawaii items from Japan and Korea directly to your home every month.  Your box will be shipped in the beginning of each month and the shipping is absolutely free, anywhere on the planet!  Each box includes 10-12 cute, original and licensed kawaii items”.

Unboxing:

Kawaii Box 4 - Famous in Japan

Keeping with tradition I’ll start with my favourite item from the box.  This is the Sheep 2015 Desk Calendar .   It seems that 2015 is the year of the sheep in the Zodiac calendar; there was me thinking it was just because sheep are cute and fluffy.

Kawaii Box 2 - Famous in Japan

Am I right in thinking this is Pusheen?  This is just a simple plush-type keyring .  It is very cute – especially the small feet and tail.   This is another keyring that I just can’t bring myself to use on my keys or my bag as it is too delicate.  She’s joining my little plush keyring gang!

Kawaii Box 3 - Famous in Japan

Yet another box of Pocky !  I must have about 4 different varieties by now, perhaps even more.  This is the original, simple flavour of plain chocolate.  I have tried this variety before and it’s alright.  I’ll try and pop a review up if possible, along with reviews of my other boxes, but I’m sure lots of you have already tried this particular flavour.

Kawaii Box 5 - Famous in Japan

Oooh, deco tape !  A lace design too, fancy!  I keep meaning to get my craft on and hopefully these will be a good way into easing myself into it.  This particular design would be a good for customising notebooks or even around my desk.

Kawaii Box 6 - Famous in Japan

Pandas!  Stickers!   Panda stickers! The way to my heart is through pandas.  Or stickers.  I love pandas, I love stickers. I love these pandas stickers!  Can you tell how much I love these?  I was thinking of perhaps making myself a iPhone case covered in these stickers as they’re slightly 3D – what do you think?

Kawaii Box 8 - Famous in Japan

My Melody socks !  Dannie is a free elf (500 points if you get that reference!).   You can never go wrong with socks can you?  I will have to save these for a special occasion… perhaps I could squeeze them into my suitcase for my upcoming holiday?

Kawaii Box 7 - Famous in Japan

These are just the smaller bits of the box – the ones that do not warrant an entire picture to themselves.  I’m not entirely keen on the OMG keyring to be honest.  It’s ok but it isn’t something I would buy if I saw it in the shop.  Another item I’m not sure about is the zip bracelet .  Again, it’s not a product I would buy for myself.  It seems almost too young for me.  A product I do like is the Little Talk post it note set but I’m sure I’ve had something like this before in the past.  They’re cute nonetheless.  Another item that I definitely have had from Kawaii Box in the past is the cake keyring.  I think I have one or two of these in different colours now.  They are cute, but I don’t need any more!

Review:

Once again, it was a good box.  I was expecting an Autumn theme this month and the items chosen do not really fit the Autumn theme in my opinion.  When I think of Autumn, I think of being cosy.  The My Melody socks are probably the only Autumn related item in this box.  I love the sheep calender and the panda stickers so they do redeem the box slightly.  As usual, this box took two weeks to arrive from Singapore.  There are no custom charges to pay and you are provided with a tracking number.  I’m seriously holding out a lot of hope for the December/January boxes as I am hoping they have a Christmas/New Year theme.  I don’t know whether I will stay subscribed to Kawaii Box after that time – it just depends if the boxes convince me to stay.

What was your favourite item in the box?

Dannie x

My mum ordered me a 3 months gift subscription for my birthday and my first one will be in December. I’m so jealous that you got the sheep calendar, I wanted to buy it from the blippo store but couldn’t afford it :(

    I love your reviews :)
