Hello! It’s Kawaii Box time, yay! I’m sorry that this post is quite late. I think I have developed an aversion to my keyboard… eek! I’ll try to battle through it today to show you what I received in the January box.
Kawaii Box – January 2015

Your box will be shipped in the beginning of each month and the shipping is absolutely free, anywhere on the planet! Each box includes 10-12 cute, original and licensed kawaii items”.
I noticed that the outside packaging has changed this month. Ooh la la, it’s looking a bit fancy now!
My favourite items this month were the Pink Roll Cake Plush , the Ribbon Eyeglass Frames and the BK Nail Polish . How adorable is the plush? My mother and I were once again going head to head for ownership! The ribbon eyeglass frames remind me of a certain bow wearing feline, although there is nothing to suggest that they are a Sanrio product. I’m not sure whether I should try to put some lenses in and rock them as glasses. I was surprised to see a nail polish included in this month’s box; could this be a sign of more to come?
A mixture of stationary and miscellaneous items here! I think I was supposed to receive an animal sticker set but it seems I received a Halloween themed set instead? Another addition to my growing pen collection is the Korean Cartoon Character Pen – you can never go wrong with a pen, ha! I’m glad I received the “Love is Happy” variety of the Vintage Stamp Set as I think I’d be able to use it! The Polka Dot Purse will come in handy this month – I’m trying to leave the bank cards at home and luckily they won’t fit into this. I wish I was able to use the Dessert Mirror Charm as a phone charm but it will have to make do for now as a keyring.
Finally, the unusual items of the box! I received two bags of Rilakkuma Rice Crackers , a Pastel Shell Bracelet and Emoticon Squishy. I’m not keen on the bracelet and I am thinking of passing it on to someone else or donating it. The squishy is cute, but I might donate that too. The rice crackers seem unusual, but I will give them a try anyway. They look the perfect size for keeping in my handbag for 11am hunger pangs.
Review:
This was a good box this month. The sea shell bracelet was a disappointment for me this month; it looks and feels cheap, and I wouldn’t say it is a kawaii item. I’m also not too sure what happened with the stickers! I have a feeling it was just a mix up on their end, and I’m not angry about it. I feel that this month could have played on the “new year” and included things such as diaries. That’s just my two cents though!
Kawaii Box costs $1.890 (about £12-13) per month with free shipping. The box is sent via Singapore Post and you are provided with a tracking number. It will take about two weeks to arrive and there are no custom charges to pay. I’m hoping next month’s box will have a Valentines/romantic theme as I think that could make an excellent box. We shall see!
What was your favourite item in the box?

I was quite dissapointed with my box, the bracelet looks cheap and tacky, I got pink nail polish (I don’t like pink – although that’s not their fault) and the stickers look like Halloween non sales. The treats weren’t bad though x
It was a random combination! Glad there was something you enjoyed x
Those glasses are my favourite, SO CUTE! I hope you get a nice valentines box xx
