Hello!   It’s Kawaii Box time, yay!  Once again, this post is very late.  In fact, it’s only a few days until the March box arrives!  *gulps*  Let’s get a move on and have a peek at what I received in the February box.

Kawaii Box – February 2015

Kawaii Box is the cutest monthly subscription service.  Subscribe now and receive a box filled with hand-picked kawaii items from Japan and Korea directly to your home every month.  Your box will be shipped in the beginning of each month and the shipping is absolutely free, anywhere on the planet!  Each box includes 10-12 cute, original and licensed kawaii items”.

Let’s keep with tradition and begin with my favourite items in the box.  I received a box of Pocky Panda Biscuit Stickers , an Alpacasso Mini Purse , a Panda Squishy Charm , a Crown Polka Dot Pen and Note & Stickers Set .   I have previously received a box of Pocky Panda Biscuits from an OyatsuBox, and an Alpacasso Mini Purse from a Kawaii Box .   They’re still my favourite items from the box though!  The panda squishy, the pen and the sticker set are great items too.

I received a Korean Stationary Set , a Ribbon Notebook , Photo Decoration Seals Ice Cream Deco Ribbon , Pen Document Clip and Ankle Ribbon Socks .   I have a feeling the socks may turn into ankle socks when I wear them, and I’m not entirely sure what my un-creative self can do with the ribbon.

Review:

I’m not entirely impressed with this month’s box – you can probably tell by my tone in this post!   There are some nice items here, but nothing that really stood out to me and put a huge smile on my face.  I think that if you were a first time subscriber you would be pleased with the Pocky biscuits and the Alpacasso Mini Purse.

Kawaii Box costs $18.90 (about £12-13) per month with free shipping.  The box is sent via Singapore Post and you are provided with a tracking number. It will take about two weeks to arrive and there are no custom charges to pay.   I have actually unsubscribed from Kawaii Box now, so the March box will be the last box I receive.   Will the March box make me regret unsubscribing?  We shall see..

What was your favourite item in the box?

Hi ya, your box has completely different things in from ours, I subcribed for my 9 year old daughter I’ve shown her the pics from your blog she was so very excited and asked every day for 3 1/2 weeks if the box had arrived when I collected her from school. To be fair if she had go the same as you she would have been happy but the things in her box, plain wooden chop sticks, a mini kit Kat, a dodgy make your own slime sweetie pack, a pencil case with pictures of space on it, I plain pink luggage tag, I tiny eraser and a random hair clip and pen, plus a couple of other dull items she got a squirrel squishy which she loves it has been everywhere with her since she received it, I’ll wait for the March box, if it’s the same quality, we also will be unsubscribing.

That sounds so random and weird. I’m sorry that your experience wasn’t so good. Perhaps you could contact them and see what is going on? Usually everyone receives the same items.

I hope your daughter receives an amazing March box to make up for this one.

      xx
