Hello! It’s Kawaii Box time, yay! The box this month actually had a theme, which was of course Christmas (with a few items hinting at New Year – I think!). I have to say, this is one of my favourite boxes so far.

Unboxing:
My favourite items in the box this month were the Kabaya Saku Saku Panda Cookies and the Hello Kitty beauty scissors . Do I need to say why? Pandas… Hello Kitty… I was in heaven!
The next item that I liked is this adorable heart-shaped notebook . If you can’t quite make it out, it says “distance makes the heart grow fonder”. I hope that one day I can fill it with nice things about the person who my heart is fond of… *slips away into daydreams of Haruma Miura*
The Christmas items I received were… A set of glittery kawaii Christmas stickers , a Christmas stationery set and a Korean folding Christmas card (with envelope). I wish I had been feeling festive this year so I could have appreciated these items more. I will be saving the Korean Christmas card for someone special next Christmas; it cannot be wasted on just anyone.
These are just the random bits of the box I squeezed together. There is a glow in the dark headband , a fluffy pastel purse , a bow bunny plush charm , a donut squishy charm and some glitter nail deco flakes . The fluffy pastel purse is so soft but perhaps too small to use as a make up bag. The bow bunny plush charm is adorable; she will be joining my army of plushes I seem to be quickly amassing! I don’t have much use for the nail deco flakes so I will pass them on to a someone who will have more fun with them.
Review:
As I said above, this box is one of my favourite Kawai Boxes that I have received. I like that I received a mixture of Christmas items and non-related items; too many Christmas items would have been a waste on my unfestive self. It was a refreshing change to receive the the Hello Kitty scissors, an item of actual use. I was beginning to feel like I was receiving too many “gimmicky” items that were pretty but served no use. Now I have a pretty item that does serve a purpose – yay!
Kawaii Box costs $1.890 (about £12-13) per month with free shipping. The box is sent via Singapore Post and you are provided with a tracking number. It will take about two weeks to arrive and there are no custom charges to pay. I have said in previous posts that I would unsubscribe after the New Year… but after this month’s box I am feeling inclined to stay subscribed for a little while longer. It all rests on the January box….
What was your favourite item in the box?
Dannie x
I recieved the December box as my first ever subscription, I was fairly pleased. I was confused as to why there was a fan made EXO notebook though. The keyring was very, very shoddy – I complained about it and they’re aparently sending me a new one :)
I’m glad someone else mentioned the exo notebook… that’s the first thing I noticed haha.
Someone is going to have to show me this notebook :’) :O
Its the blue heart shaped notebook you received. The logo on the front is for the kpop band exo… kind of a strange thing to include but I’m sure if there were any fans they were happy! And its a cute notebook anyways.
That is so strange about the notebook! Maybe one of the employees/packers somehow dropped it in?
I’m sorry to hear about your keyring, but I’m happy that they are sending you a new one :) x
Happy New Year! Those Hello Kitty scissors are so cool. I like the funky pencils with the snowman and Christmas tree rubbers, though I don’t think I’d ever use them because they’re so pretty.
Happy New Year!
I know, and I don’t want to ruin the rubbers especially! Why do they have to make stationery so cute? :(
