Yes , that is it’s name.   Yes , I know what it sounds like.   Before you flood my blog with profanities, let me just tell you about the Glico Cream Collon – Vanilla Cream first.

The snack with a corker of a conversation starter name arrived into my life via an OyatsuBox – where else?  I have to admit I was rather excited to give these a try purely because of the name, and I quickly pushed it up my “to review” list.   Oh, I’m sneaky.

The Glico Cream Collon  biscuits come housed in a foil packet  inside a resealable box, which helps to keep the biscuits fresh and edible for longer.   I appreciate this immensely , as it reminds me that I don’t have to eat them all at once.  I can show some restraint!

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect with the Glico Cream Collon biscuits.  With a name so unusual, what can you expect?   Even my dad commented on the name!

Upon opening the foil packet, I was instantly hit with a very sweet vanilla biscuit scent .  I was a little apprehensive that the biscuits might be too sweet for me.   Alas, I was wrong!

Even though yes, the biscuits do have  a very sweet taste ,  they are ridiculously addictive and moreish .  I can’t leave them alone!     The filling is so creamy and soft ; it practically melts in the mouth .  The outer biscuit shell has a soft yet decent crunch ; it gives emphasis  and contrast  to how creamy the filling is.

I would definitely buy the Glico Cream Collon biscuits again; I want to try the matcha and chocolate varieties!   Whilst this particular variety has proved hard to find , there are other varieties available on most, if not all, of the usual websites.   I have to say, these biscuits are perfect with a cup of tea.  If you do purchase a box for yourself I would thoroughly recommend enjoying them with a brew by your side.

Would you try these biscuits, or would the name put you off?
