Behind The Blog
What did I get up to in June?
I gave into the Netfix hype, and quickly became addicted to Orange is The New Black . I’ve had to stop watching it for a while, as it has been spoiled for me. When everyone started Season 3, I had just finished Season 1. Oh well! I’m hoping my brain will soon forget the spoilers, as I was really beginning to enjoy the show.
My friend Hannah came to stay with me for a weekend , where we binged on ice cream, KFC and yes… Geordie Shore. Together, we found a magical place that serves chicken ramen . It’s not as nice as Wagamama’s version but it will do. I also dragged Hannah to the CALF vegan cafe as I have wanted to go for ages, and it was just as lovely as I thought it would be. The food was cheap, yet so good. I’ll definitely be popping in again! Before Hannah left, I made it my mission to win her a toy from the amusements and I did – yay me!
I’ve also cut off my hair once again after becoming frustrated with split ends and grey hairs. Getting old is not fun.
After having an extended blog break, I really pushed myself to blog everyday this month. It was definitely a challenge! I wrote my Paul Mitchell Super Charged Moisturizer review and the Oriflame THE ONE Eyeliner Stylo review on the train home from a day out, and I wrote my review of the Cakes With Faces How To Make Sushi Guide in my lunch hour. If that doesn’t impress you much, I wrote my review of the Soap and Glory Orangeasm Shower Gel after struggling with a migraine. Impressed yet? *wiggles eyebrows* I was so determined not to give up, especially when I had made it so far.
I’m going to try blogging every day in July too, although I’m not feeling as confident as I was at the beginning of June! It’s been so good to get the writing bug back and become involved in the blogging community again . I know my writing isn’t the best, and my photography could be a lot better, but I’m having a lot of fun and I am hopefully improving with every post.
What did you get up to in June?
