Washi! Hot Cloth

Posted in Beauty

When I received my #bbbbeautybox, one of the items I was most excited to try was the Washi! Hot Cloth.

Washi! Hot Cloth --- Famous in Japan

Washi! Hot Cloth – £5.95 for 5

The Washi! Hot Cloth is a little thicker than muslin, but thinner than regular face cloths. Using cleansing products alone cannot properly remove debris – the gently polishing quality will revitalise dull skintone by removing the dead skin cells sitting on the surface. The Washi! Hot Cloth not only exfoliates, but it retains the heat for longer allowing you to deeply cleanse pores. Use it before and after application of face masks, facial scrubs, facial oils, massage creams, serums and creams.

Before I started beauty blogging, I had no idea what a muslin cloth was – yep, hard to believe!  Nowadays, I have so many from various variants of hot cloth cleansers I have more than I know what to do with.  I’m not a fan of flannels to wash my face as even though they are softer than a muslin, they do feel quite heavy on my face.

If a muslin cloth met a flannel.. and they liked each other… very much... a Washi! Hot Cloth would be the end result.  It is as light as a muslin cloth, yet it has the same texture as the flannel – you’re getting the best of both worlds.  If your muslin cloth deserves a break, or even a good wash, let the Washi! Hot Cloth have a go one day.  It can be used to scrape off hot cloth cleansers, to wipe away face masks and it can be left on the face to open pores without the worry of passing out through accidental asphyxiation and being found by worried parents/housemates/pet.  No one wants to see that.

This little cloth has been such an essential for me – I even bundled it into my washbag to take to S’s!  I couldn’t even go one weekend without it, that is how much I have grown to rely on it.  When it begins to look a bit tatty, and it begins to dreams of days long gone, I will definitely be putting an order in for more.

This sounds fab! I love my muslin cloths but they don’t hold heat very well..
I’m glad it’s not just me who discusses inanimate objects liking each other very much…
