Hello! I’ve finally sorted out some WiFi – yay! I have had limited products with me due to moving here, there and everywhere so do bear with me if it feels like reviews are few and far between for a while. One product I have kept close to me this month is the Tangle Teezer Original.
Tangle Teezer Original
Tangle Teezer Original, the professional detangling hairbrush is loved by hairdressers and used in professional hair salons. It’s a super smooth operator that works the minute hair is lathered and rinsed. Glides through wet, vulnerable and colour treated hair with no pulling, tugging or yanking. Hair peace at last!
I had been wanting to try a Tangle Teezer for a while but for some reason I kept putting it off. “It won’t be as good as they say”, “I don’t need one” and “it’s not worth it” were the main reasons I would walk away from the stand in Boots. When the opportunity arose with Hairtrade to try the Tangle Teezer Original, I couldn’t pass it up.
The Tangle Teezer is small, lightweight and compact; it fits into my hands comfortably and it has fitted in my toiletry bag whilst I’ve been moving. I would have liked a protective case to put over the bristles as I feel some of them have bent slightly (and made my photos look ugly!). The plastic bristles alter in sizes which allows it to comb comfortably through the hair without tugging or pulling, Believe me, it really does not pull or tug in the slightest. It’s not a thorough brush that can de-tangle the hair in one swoop, so you will have to brush through several times, but for me this isn’t a problem! I find brushing my hair with the Tangle Teezer comfortable and quite relaxing; it’s like a mini head massage and I look forward to brushing my hair now (I know, that’s really sad!).
I haven’t used any other brush since I received the Tangle Teezer. It’s more comfortable than a comb on my hair, believe it or not! I think those with fine hair and lots of it will get the most benefit out of the Tangle Teezer but it has worked fine on my thickish hair . If you’re umming and ahhing like I was, don’t. If you were deciding on getting one, Hairtrade offer it for a few pounds less than Boots, but no doubt you will spend those saved pounds on something else from the website – it’s terribly addictive.
