Hello! I realised that it has been far too long since I brought you a make up review. To remedy that, and to get back into your good books, I will be talking about the Oriflame THE ONE Eyeliner Stylo.
Oriflame THE ONE Eyeliner Stylo
Long lasting liquid eye liner with soft felt tip delivers smooth, continuous lines without dragging or stopping. Intense pigments for dramatic definition. Ophthalmologically-tested. Suitable for contact lens wearers.
I was first introduced to Oriflame last year at their blogger event in Leeds. I had only heard of Oriflame before from a very small handful of blogs, so I was keen to try out the brand for myself. Oriflame are often called the Swedish Avon; they sell through catalogues and representatives but you can also buy online.
THE ONE Eyeliner Stylo is part of Oriflame’s THE ONE collection. Oriflame wanted to create a collection aimed at the modern woman; effortlessly stylish without compromise on longevity or quality. The Eyeliner Stylo is part of the “Long Wear” line of THE ONE collection – long lasting make up that will see you from day to night without reapplying.
Due to a mix up, I found two eyeliner stylos in my gift bag after the event. I can’t help but feel that it was fate as I absolutely love this eyeliner, and let me tell you why!
The Eyeliner Stylo is a lightweight pen that fits comfortably in my hand without feeling flimsy or heavy. The soft felt tip point makes it easy to apply the eyeliner without pulling or tugging. The pigmented formula is just right – no washed out grey lines but no harsh black tone either.
True to Oriflame’s promise, the Eyeliner Stylo has incredible staying power and will not budge; it can last 10-12 hours on my oily eyelids. It won’t come off with a normal cleanser and warm water, so you will need a good eye make up remover to take it off. I would recommend something similar to The Body Shop Camomile Eye Make Up Remover (#cheekyplug). As a contact lens wearer, I can also state that I’ve never suffered any irritation when wearing this product.
Since I started using this eyeliner, I have barely reached for others in my collection, and if I do it is not long before I crawl on my knees back to this one. It’s not quite “Holy Grail” for me, but it’s pretty close. I don’t know what I will do when both my stylos bite the dust! I will have to rope my mum into becoming a Oriflame representative… it’s the only way!
