nSpa Hot Cloth Polish

Posted in Beauty

Yet another review, aren’t I lovely to you guys? *conveniently forgets about past abandonment of blog*  Today’s post is about the nSpa Hot Cloth Polish.

nSpa Hot Cloth Polish

nSpa Hot Cloth Polish – £7.00

They say:

Let the blend of moisturising Ginseng and Vitamin E, rich and creamy Cocoa Butter and Sweet Almond Oil dissolve the day’s make-up and impurities with the help of the muslin cloth.

Ingredient Analysis:

Aqua, Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter (skin conditioning, skin protecting), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (skin conditioning), Cetearyl Alcohol (emollient), Glycerin (skin conditioning), Cetyl Esters (skin conditioning), Polysorbate 60 (emulsifier), Sorbitan Stearate (emulsifier), Propylene Glycol (skin conditioning), Cera Alba (beeswax – emollient), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (almond oil – skin conditioning), Parfum, Panax Ginseng Root Extract (skin conditioning), Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil (apricot oil – skin conditioning), Persea Gratissima Oil (avocado oil – emollient), Citrus Aurantium Flower Oil (neroli – tonic, masking), Tocopheryl Acetate (antioxidant, skin protecting), Panthenol (skin conditioning), Sodium Benzoate (preservative), 2-Bromo-2-Nitropropane-1, 3-Diol (preservative – quite a nasty one apparently eeek!), Potassium Sorbate (preservative), Potassium Hydroxide (pH adjuster), Disodium EDTA (preservative), Citric Acid (preservative), Linalool (fragrance), Limonene (fragrance).

I say:

Brr, I swear it’s getting colder!  Going from shop to shop (don’t cha just love Christmas shopping?), my skin is constantly exposed to hot-cold-hot-cold and it’s not happy about it.   However, to get back into it’s good books I have been treating it to the nSpa Hot Cloth Polish during cleansing time.

nSpa Hot Cloth Polish and Muslin Cloth

Rich in cocoa  butter, this thick and creamy cleanser is so gentle on my skin;  no stripping it of the precious moisture it has left (my precioussss) (come on, admit it that you totes read that sentence in that voice..).  I was a little wary of breakouts due to the almond oil, ginseng and neroli present but I am pleased to say there haven’t been any!  My skin practically drinks up this cleanser and my skin looks brighter and feels clean after use.   I do have to be a bit mean here and dash the hopes of oily skinned ladies – due to the amount of cocoa butter present this may be a little heavy for your delicate faces.  Dry and dehydrated ladies…  help yourselves!

A little bugbear I have with this is the pump mechanism.  I press down on the pump to dispense the product, which it does, but I then have to wait for the pump to push itself back up slowly if I want another pump, if that makes sense.  As time has gone on, the pump has weakened and it can stick a little or take a bit longer to push itself back up.  It’s just a minor bug bear and it is probably down to my heavy handed-ness more than anything.

I would also say some of the ingredients make me raise my eyebrow slightly…   I have hyperlinked the one that made me gasp!

Despite these bugbears this would be something I would consider buying myself.  The nSpa range is exclusive to ASDA so you can pop a cheeky treat into the trolley when your mum isn’t looking… (dannie tip – distract her with something from the George section).

I got this for Christmas last year and love it :) I find it just as good as the Liz Earle C&P! xx

I prefer this to the C&P as the C&P broke me out! xx

I’ve just run out of my beloved Cleanse and Polish and this is definitely more budget friendly! (I think it’s even on 2 for £8 at the moment!) I might have to pick this up and give it a whirl! x
