Hello! What time is it? It’s monthly favourites time! My last favourites post was in July of this year, so it hasn’t been too long. I really need to start being more… remember-ful? What’s the word…?
Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream // BritishBeautyBlogger Eye & Blush Palette // Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick in Starkers // Benefit They’re Real Mascara
Throughout September AND October I have been reaching for the same base product everyday – the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream . It’s just what I want in a base product; something light that sits on my skin well and doesn’t highlight imperfections. The colour is still a touch too dark but with some vigorous blending down the neck it’s not that noticeable… I think.
A product I am very excited to talk about is the BritishBeautyBlogger Eye and Blush Palette . I was kindly sent this by Jane herself and I’ve really enjoyed having a play around with it. I’m not an eyeshadow person to be honest so I didn’t expect to have as much fun as I have been! I will try my best to have a complete review up by the weekend.
Another product I didn’t expect to like is the Illamasqua Glamore Lipstick in Starker s . I know what you’re thinking – that’s not a red lipstick! That’s a nude! Hear me out. I started a new job a few weeks ago and the office is a little more conservative than my previous one. I’ve managed to just about get away with a cheeky swipe of Topshop Rio Rio but most days I have been applying Starkers. This is my first Illamasqua lipstick and I’m impressed; I think I need a red Illamasqua lipstick in my life…
And finally, a product that I always seem to end up crawling back to is the Benefit They’re Real mascara . It just does what I want a mascara to do – lengthen, volumise and make it look like I’m wearing false eyelashes. I should probably rewrite my review of it as my current one is terribly embarrassing (and it sounds like I sniffed a few bath bombs or two before I wrote it…) .

I’m loving the Bourjois CC Cream at the moment too, it feels so light on the skin! The eye & cheek palette looks lovely, it reminds me of the palettes Barry M released about a year ago :)

I love the 123 CC cream, i’ve recently repurchased this a few weeks back, I’m not a 100% fan of the there real mascara, although think i’m the only person who doesn’t love it, my current fav is Seventeen falsie something. Although it is kind of a dupe at but for about £7 I think.

Bourjois CC Cream is the best! I also have it in a shade too dark though – when buying I was thinking of summer and my beautiful tan, hehehe. :)

I’m a big fan of Ilamasqua’s lipsticks and I definitely think you’d like their red lipsticks! I’m not a huge fan of boirjois’s cc cream – I’ve been reaching for revlon’s nearly naked and Colourstay a lot. I’ve been loving my new Living Nature lipstick, the colour is just the perfect easy to wear berry and I can’t get enough of it :)
Ooooh! I keep meaning to try one but then I remember I have about 500 red lipsticks! I’m so jealous you can pull off berry tones :( x
