I say:
I loved the look of the Shoot For the Stars Bath Bomb in store; I am a real sucker for space themed anything. I may be a secret hipster, but shhh , let’s just keep that between us two. I was hoping that this bath bomb would turn my waters into a beautiful, starry night sky … and it did not disappoint.
Shoot For the Stars Bath Bomb was quite the silent worker. It didn’t seem to make much noise whilst it was getting to work; I barely heard it fizz. I expected it to be similar to the now discontinued Space Girl that had popping candy included. That particular bath bomb definitely made some noise, e ven whilst you were in the bath!
In my opinion, this bath bomb took a long time to dissolve. Whilst I initially enjoyed watching it at the beginning, I didn’t want my bath to go cold and I ended up getting in the bath and speeding up the process… i.e. crushing the bath bomb in my hands . Dannie want bath, Dannie smash puny bath bomb!
I absolutely loved how the water looked with this bath bomb. The initial colours reminded me of a painting , with so many different colours ; green, pink, blue, purple! After the fizz had disappeared, the water had turned a beautiful inky purple. With the lustre, the water had a gorgeous shimmer without the annoying residue of glitter.
This bath bomb helped me to feel so relaxed. My skin felt so soft afterwards and I could smell the scent on me even after I had got out of the bath. It’s quite a strong scent that I wouldn’t usually go for but it did help me to relax. I would imagine this bath bomb would be perfect to use before bed. I’m not the best at describing scents, but to my uneducated nose it’s a sweet, flowery musk.
Shoot For the Stars is definitely a new favourite for me, and I will definitely repurchase again. I am very sad to learn it’s a Christmas exclusive. It needs to be available all year round! Never fear, I will just desperately hoard it like I do with Snow Fairy.
What’s your favourite LUSH bath bomb? Do you have any Christmas only favourites?
