The unthinkable has happened; I am down to my last remaining DIY candy kits!  I need to replenish the stash, pronto! *conveniently forgets about large hoard of other confectionery* Today I will be talking you through the  Kracie Neru Neru Nazo Nazo DIY Candy Kit – Orange and Peach .

The   Kracie Neru Neru Nazo Nazo DIY Candy Kit – Orange and Peach  is the third Kracie DIY candy kit I have tried whereby you simply add water to powder to make a candy treat.   In case you are new around here, I have tried the Kracie Nerunerunerune DIY Candy – Ramune and the  Kracie Neruneru DIY Waffle Candy Kit .     This particular kit boasts two flavours, one being orange and the other peach .  There is also the welcome addition of  sprinkles .  I was so excited to try this kit that when I managed to find a free afternoon I was sitting down and getting stuck in, pronto.

In this kit you will receive a plastic tray, 4 sachets2 plastic spoons and a packet of sprinkles .  In true Kracie style, the tray has a small triangular corner which you can either cut off or snap off.  You will need this to measure out the water that you will need in the next steps so don’t lose it!

Step 1!   First things first, snap off the triangular corner from the plastic tray and fill it with water .   Empty the green sachet with 1 on the packaging into one of the sections of the tray.

Step 2!  Add the water to the powder  and  give it a good stir.  The mixture will turn a fetching shade of green .   Then, add the red sachet with 2 on the packaging into the mixture and stir.   Wahey, the mixture is beginning to look a bit more appealing!

Step 3!  Now on to the other side of the tray.  Empty the purple sachet with 1 on the packagin into the the second section of the tray.   Fill up the triangle with water again, add it to the powder and give it a good stir.   The mixture will turn purple .   At least it’s not green!

I apologise for forgetting to take pictures of the next step – I don’t know what happened!  You need to add the remaining sachet with a 2 on the packaging to the mixture and stir .  It should hopefully go a lovely shade of pink .

Step 4!  Add sprinkles to both of the mixtures and enjoy!

What did I think?    The orange flavour had a fizzy, soda like flavour that wasn’t too artificial or generic.   I could have eaten loads of it.  It had a light, fluffy texture .  The peach flavour oh lorrrrd.  It was definitely my favourite of the two .  Again, it was light and fluffy with a fizzy, soda like flavour.  Even though I could have eaten loads of this flavour too, I could tell that it would get sickly quite fast if it was eaten in large quantities.    Overall the orange and peach flavours went well together and they made a good combination .   The sprinkles were a welcome touch as they added a crunch to a very soft, almost whipped like treat.

What a fun DIY candy kit!     I   enjoyed making this one.   The two flavours meant it took slightly longer than other kits, and the flavours were most certainly enjoyable – so much so I was scraping the tray for every last bit.    I like how there was two spoons included – this kit could be a his/hers, hers/hers and his/his kit.   I would definitely buy it again and try it with my boyfriend, although there may be a fight over the peach flavour…

Would you give this DIY candy kit a go?

  1. I was always worried about those kits, I’ve tried a few before and they’ve been nasty but if you say that they’re actually good – I’ll give it a go :)
