Hello!  For some reason, I thought I would have mountains of empty bottles and containers to show you today when in actual fact, I barely have any!   I must do better next month…

Empties #2 - Famous in Japan

The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye and Lip Make Up Remover

I absolutely love this eye make up remover from the Camomile range at The Body Shop.  It does an amazing job removing my 5 layers of mascara without any irritation whatsoever; I have repurchased it about 4-5 times now.  You can read more about it in more detail in my review.

Repurchase? Yes.

Japanese Bath Salts

These Japanese bath salts were a gift from Alanna in our parcel swap .   I can’t read the packaging, but I gathered that they were honey scented from the adorable bee on the packaging.   I decided to give them a go one night, and treat myself to a lovely, relaxing bath.  Instantly. they made my bath water go a rather fetching shade of yellow.  Coupled with the musky scent, my bath wasn’t as relaxing as I wanted it to be.  Even though it did make a nice change from a bath bomb, I think I would prefer my bath water to be pink or blue.. not yellow! I can’t find these bath salts online and the packaging doesn’t seem to give much away.

Repurchase?  Even if I could find them online, no.

ghd Style Heat Protect Spray

The ghd Style Heat Protect Spray was a great heat protectant.  I really liked using it in my haircare routine; my hair never felt so soft and swishy.  However, it ran out too quickly for me and for that reason I wouldn’t repurchase again.  This is also something you can read about in further detail in my review.

Repurchase?  I would repurchase if it was on offer but not at full price.

Garnier Micellar Water

You are probably all sick and tired of hearing about how impressed I am with this micellar water, but I am just so relieved to have found a micellar water that does what it is supposed to do without burning my face off.   It is on my list of things to review so I will eventually be sharing my thoughts with you all, but for now you’ll have to keep putting up with me banging on about it in monthly favourites and empties posts. #sorrynotsorry

Repurchase? Yes.

Have you used up anything exciting lately?

  1. I love writing up empties posts; I’m always so relieved to finish off products and throw them into the recycling, so they aren’t taking up precious space in my flat! I use Bioderma to take off my makeup, but even though it’s so cheap when you buy it in a French pharmacy, that ain’t the case over here. I’ll have to give the Garnier one a go!
