Currently Using #3

Hello!  I have realised that it has been over a year since I did one of these “ currently using ” posts – wow!  The last post I did of this I was using some very different products; not to mention I was living in a different place!

Paul Mitchell Ultimate Color Repair:   Shampoo , Conditioner and Triple Rescue Treatment

The Ultimate Color Repair line is a  new addition to Paul Mitchell’s extensive hair care range and it is also a new addition to my hair care routine.  I received the Take Home gift set (which contains all 3 products in a deluxe sample size) at the recent  Ultimate Color Repair Launch .   However ,  I didn’t start using the products until I finally sorted out my barnet and had it coloured professionally at the hairdressers.   I am now a full on brunette and I couldn’t be happier.   *swishes hair*  

As I have only been using these products for a few weeks , I cannot comment at length but I can say that my hair has been feeling so soft, nourished and healthy , even from the very first use .  I’m really impressed so far, and I can only hope that they live up to their 9 weeks of vibrancy claim.

Soap and Glory Orangeasm Shower Gel

A product I am not particularly enjoying using is the Soap and Glory Orangeasm Shower Gel .  I have spoken about the reasons why I am not fond of it in my review , but just in case you missed it I will recap for you.  It’s the scent.   I just don’t like it.  With a name like Orangeasm you expect a zesty, citrus scent that will wake you up but this just falls flat and leaves me feeling annoyed more than anything. 

I am doing my best to use it up quickly so I can use The Comforter Shower Gel I bought from LUSH recently – a scent I truly adore.

Paul Mitchell Original Hair Treatment

Yet another Paul Mitchell product, and whilst yes, I know I spoke about this in my Monthly Favourites the other day but I am really impressed with the Paul Mitchell Original Hair Treatment .

For me, it’s a great “do all” treatment that not only hydrates , but also repairs hair from damage from every day styling and so on.   I regularly use a lot of heat on my hair such as hairdryers and straighteners, and considering I have recently coloured my hair, so I need to be mindful of damage .   I’ve been using this once a week just to counter some of the damage and I really think it’s making a difference.

I know my “currently using” products aren’t the most exciting bunch but I am trying my best to get out of this little beauty rut I’m currently in, and really start pushing the boat out.  Watch this space!
