Wow .  As if it has been over a year since my last “ current skincare favourites ” post.   Where has the time gone?   Let’s get matters up to date by me telling you all about the products my face is currently loving.

Current Skincare Favourites 3 - Famous in Japan

MERUMAYA Melting Cleansing Balm | Elemis Lavender Mask | Elemis Tri Enzyme Mask | La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+] | ESPA Optimal Skin ProSerum

Even though I’m still fairly new to the world of cleansing balms and melting cleansers, after discovering the MERUMAYA Melting Cleansing Balm I’m not in a hurry to try any others.  It is so gentle; cleansing my skin without stripping or leaving an annoying oily residue like other cleansing balms do.   * At the time of writing, MERUMAYA are currently offering an AMAZING 5 piece gift with ANY online purchase until 18 October.  Go, go, GO!*

I love face masks, as they guarantee me a full 10 minutes of “me-time”.   I have been reaching for these two gems from Elemis for a few weeks now; no other mask has got a look in!   I love to use the Elemis Herbal Lavender Mask for a gentle, yet deep cleanse , as well as the Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Gel Mask to gently exfoliate, brighten and smooth .   It will be a sad day for my face when these run out!

Whilst I haven’t had any serious breakouts in a while, I am prone to annoying whiteheads .  When they pop up, out comes the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+ ] . This magic serum zaps them away and usually by the next morning they are gone.   I have even converted my brother to this serum, which is a pretty big deal.

Whenever I have a skin complaint, I reach for the ESPA Optimal Skin ProSerum .   Feeling a little dry?  ProSerum.   Feeling a little angry?  ProSerum.  Looking dull?  ProSerum.  I could do this all day!  This wonder oil boasts ingredients such as omega oils and plant extracts , and boy, oh boy, does my face love it.   I have been using it lately as part of a facial massage routine; it glides on my skin without simply sitting on the surface.    My skin feels so healthy and nourished after use, with a velvet-smooth touch to boot.   L-O-V-E!

What skincare product is your face currently loving?

  1. Would you say the Merumaya Cleansing balm is better than Liz Earle? :) I’m bored with C&P now and this sounds great xx
