In an ideal world, we would all wake up like Beyonce ( #flawless ).  However, sometimes beauty sleep on its own just isn’t enough, and needs a helping hand

Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask

This horrible cold spell of weather has really taken its toll on my skin.  After a day in the office with central heating on blast coupled with a cold, windy walk home, my face is crying come bed time.  I’ve been reaching for this super intensive hydrating face mask a couple of times a week to give my face a serious hit of hydration, fast.  With apricot kernel oil and avocado oil for the hydration boost , it also contains Japanese seaweed to repair skin’s barrier and prevent moisture loss.  This face mask hydrates deeply , leaving my skin feeling comfortable and bouncy and no longer on the brink of tears.   It has a delicious apricot scent too.. (but sadly not an apricot taste, boo!)

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+]

What would my face do without La-Roche Posay Effaclar Duo [+] ?   I dread to think.   From the annoying whitehead to the painful under the skin lurker, Effaclar Duo sorts it all .  It is a spot treatment that not only treats the breakout, but targets the pigmentation left behind .   When used at night time, my spots are gone by morning.  It’s like they were never there.   Don’t ever leave me, Effaclar Duo.

Soap and Glory Heel Genius

I didn’t think much of the Soap and Glory Heel Genius until my non-blogger friend Hannah texted me one day to sing its praises.   I had treated her to the huge Soap and Glory Christmas bundle, so she had been working her way through it.  Curious, I tried it for myself.   This is good stuff!   With the power of macadamia oil, glycerin and fruit acid smoothers , this foot cream softens dry and cracked heels overnight.  No more painful scrubbing with pumice stones or Ped Eggs, I simply apply a thick layer to both feet, pop on a pair of old socks and go to sleep.

LUSH Mint Juleps Lip Scrub and  NUXE Reve de Miel Lip Balm

This little dream team has been keeping my lips under control in this horrible weather.  I start off by giving my lips a good scrub with the LUSH Mint Juleps Lip Scrub.  The mixture of sugar, jojoba oil and peppermint oil buffs away dry skin gently with a chocolate mint taste.  Once my lips are feeling smooth it is time to apply the Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm.  Exfoliating my lips before applying this magical tub of lip goodness means the balm can work more effectively as it isn’t battling or sitting on top of dry skin.  It has a plethora of lip loving ingredients such as honey, Vitamin E, beeswax, shea butter to name a few.  It transforms lips overnight, and truly is the best lip treatment you can buy.

Oooh, the Origins mask sounds fab! I’ve been breaking out like mad and my face is dried out – i’m deffo gonna have a look online for this. I adore the S&G Heel Genius, I pop it on my feet, bob some bed socks on and my feet are all nice and soft next morning.

    Fab picks, lovely!
