Eee, today’s post is very exciting! The amazing and wonderful folk at Kawaii Box got in touch with me once more about reviewing a box AND giving one away to one lucky person! Read on to find out what I thought of the October Kawaii Box and how you can win one yourself.
Kawaii Box – October
Kawaii Box is the cutest monthly subscription service. Subscribe Now and receive a box filled with hand-picked kawaii items from Japan and Korea directly to your home every month. Your box will be shipped in the beginning of each month and the shipping is absolutely free, anywhere on the planet! Each box includes 10-12 cute, original and licensed kawaii items.
It’s nice to see that Kawaii Box finally took my suggestion on board of including a card detailing the items you have received in the box *wink wink* This makes it a lot easier to know what each item is.
The stationery items I received this month were:
A lollipop pen; a popcorn rolling stamp set; animal sticker sheet; pattern envelope set; jewelry seal deco stickers; heart shaped nail flakes. I have received similar items to these in the past from Kawaii Box when I was subscribed, namely the nail flakes and deco stickers. Never fear, I’m sure I will be able to get crafty and put these to use.
The two candy items I received this month were:
The Meiji Niginigi Osushiyasan Gummy DIY Kit and a lollipop in the shape of a poop… lovely! I have already tried and reviewed the Meiji Niginigi Osushiyasan Gummy DIY Kit so I shall pass this on for someone else to try for themselves. I’m not sure whether to try the lollipop myself or pass that on as well…
The cute items I received this month were:
FLAN Dakigurumi Plush; Finger Family Monster purse; mini Neko Emoji Mini pouch. The FLAN Dakigurumi plush took me by surprise when I pulled it out of the Kawaii Box. It also seems to double up as a pencil case although this is far too cute and delicate to use for that. I personally think this is a cute present for a baby! The Finger Family purse looks rather menacing and I’m not sure whether to risk putting any money in there – ha! The mini Neko pouch will take its place on my bookcase with my other mini plushes that I have received via Kawaii Boxes. Again, it is too delicate to use as a purse. It would be filthy in no time in my bag!
What a lovely selection of items! Receiving this box definitely reminded me of how fun it was to receive Kawaii Boxes every month back when I used to be a regular subscriber. I would still like to see “themed” boxes, such as Christmas ones; if Kawaii Box can take my suggestion of the information card they can make this happen too! Talk to me, Kawaii Box…
When I first worked with Kawaii Box, they were a small brand. Now, a year later, they’re practically unstoppable! It has been amazing to see them grow and grow, and more importantly, spread the kawaiiness to all.
Kawaii Box costs $18.90 (about £12-13) per month with free shipping. As far as I am aware, they ship all over the globe but if you live in a remote part of the world perhaps check their website. The box is sent via Singapore Post and you are provided with a tracking number. It will take about two weeks to arrive and there are no custom charges to pay. There are a number of ways to subscribe, such as an ongoing subscription or fixed month subscriptions for 3 or 6 months, making them a great gift idea. I have to admit that I am tempted to re-subscribe but unfortunately I have to be an adult and “save money” *hisses*
The lovely people at Kawaii Box have very kindly offered one lucky reader of my blog the chance to WIN a Kawaii Box. Simply complete the Rafflecopter below for your chance to win.
