A Few Cheeky Treats

Posted in Lifestyle

Hello!  Does anyone else find it annoying that when you have no money, you see ALL THE THINGS, but yet when you have all the money, there is NOTHING?  This was my problem in Leeds.  I had money to spend but I couldn’t find anything I wanted.   I went everywhere!  Even though I didn’t buy much, I thought I would show you the few bits I bought anyway…

A Few Cheeky Treats 1 - Famous in Japan

When my best friend Hannah sent me a picture of her new make up bag, I had to have it.  Sorry for copying you bestie, but anything adorned with adorable pandas needs to be in my possession pronto.   Did I need another make up bag? No.  Did I want another make up bag?  Yes, especially when it’s covered in pandas!  This adorable make up bag is from Topshop and if you fancy getting on the “copying Hannah bandwagon” you can buy it HERE.

I had tried the original GLAMGLOW Mud Mask in the past but in true beauty blogger style I moved on to other masks and I quickly forgot about it.  When I read Lydia’s glowing review, my interest was piqued once more.  I decided to start off with the small pot just in case my skin suddenly decided it didn’t get on with it anymore.  I’m hoping it will give my skin a noticeable boost as it has been so lacklustre lately.  I bought mine from Marks and Spencers but it’s available on many other websites too.

I couldn’t resist a long, romantic stroll around the Trinity Leeds Boots.  My local Boots now is terribly average in comparison.  Sadly, there was nothing that took my fancy.   I bought the La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF 50+ body spray as I didn’t have a specific body SPF for this unexpected summer, and I also bought the small version of the new Soap and Glory Sugar Crush body mist.  It’s been all over blogs at the moment and I wanted to see what it was like for myself.

It should also be worth noting that I walked into LUSH Leeds Spa, ready to spend, spend, spend and I came out with NOTHING.   What is happening to me?!

Ok, so I might have gone a bit overboard with the Meltykiss chocolates but when it’s £1.99 a box can you blame me?   I bought them in the large Chinese supermarket at the bottom of town.  The ladies who served me had a bit of a giggle when I dropped all these on to the till – “ah, Meltykiss!” they tittered.   I am not sure they appreciated my screeching of “THEY’RE MY FAAAAVE” but I couldn’t help myself.   I was SO happy when I saw them on the shelf!   I would like to take this opportunity to warn Hannah that I may end up sending her to buy me some more boxes….

Have you treated yourself to anything lovely lately?  Enable me, I’m still feeling spendy…
