Without ruining the blog post, I may be a tiny bit in love with this spray! (That ruins the blog post, fool!)
Tigi S Factor Flat Iron Shine Spray Heat Defender
This high tech spray works as thermal protectant. It provides a soft shine with a healthy finish while styling with a flat iron and also protects from daily UV rays. The special formula of Vitamins A&E nourishes and conditions the hair while acting as antioxidants to protect the hair from environmental damage. Your hair will look absolutely smooth and healthy.
Cyclopentasiloxane, Neopentyl Glycol Diethylhexanoate, Diisopropyl Adipate, Diisopropyl Sebacate, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Parfum (Fragrance), Hexyl Cinnamal, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool.
I for one am guilty of excess straightening. I go through periods of wanting the p-p-p-poker straight look, despite nature blessing me otherwise! This blatant abuse of hair takes a noticeable toll – not good! Having fallen in love with the TIGI S Factor “Serious” Conditioner, I jumped at the chance to try their heat defender offering.
Whilst some traditional heat defenders are often watery and often require a lot of sprays and spritz (is that even a word?), this product itself is more of an oil for the hair. Bear this in mind when using and remember that less is more! Of course this product also shares the distinctive strawberries and cream/mint to the rest of the S Factor range (my commoner nose can’t tell what it is – strawberry scented products are always a winner regardless though?).
I’ve been using this every time I use heat on my hair, whether it be drying or straightening, for about a month or two now. I can say that this leaves my hair feeling so soft and nourished – it makes my hair feel and look healthy. After I’ve fully straightened it I always find myself touching it and swishing it…
Perhaps not quite like that, but you get my drift…
As a result of using this spray I’ve been cutting down on straightening every day and embracing a more relaxed style. I find it keeps my hair straight and because of the oily formulation there is no frizz to be seen.
Tigi is a salon brand and as such it has a salon price! The cheapest I have seen it for is on good ol’ Hairtrade. I’ve been using this for a month or two now and it looks like I’ve barely made a dent in the bottle – you get a lorra lorra bang for ye buck with this one! I would definitely recommend this for anyone that relies on heat to keep their barnet in check.
