Hello! I recently nabbed an amazing opportunity to try RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum as part of a collaboration with London Beauty Queen. I recently had my eyelash extensions removed after 4 weeks of wear, so this opportunity could not have come at a better time.
RapidLash Eyelash Enhancing Serum is a light serum, boasting an exclusive Hexatein 1 Complex that they promise will boost the appearance of eyelashes in as little as 30 days. They claim that with daily use, lashes will appear 50% longer and 75% more voluminous.
Ooh, this is fancy! RapidLash comes packaged in a sleek silver tube that has some serious weight. The serum itself is very thin in consistency, and is applied with the attached thin brush. The first time I tried RapidLash, I applied it to the base of my eyelashes by pulling my eyelid up. There was a little bit of stinging as the solution touched my eye but after that there was no further irritation.
Why break with tradition? Here are some terrible before and after pictures! Why have I not noticed how freckly I am before now?! Why do I have a wonky eyelash on my left eye?!
1 Week Update:
Even though I have only been using RapidLash for a week, I personally can tell a difference.
Before I began to trial RapidLash, I had just had my eyelash extensions removed, and I was feeling very sad. I had noticeable gaps in my lash line where I had pulled my extensions out (life tip – DO NOT DO THIS) and my remaining eyelashes looked short and stumpy. No matter how much mascara I layered on, their appearance did not improve. I felt rather upset at the state of my eyelashes, as they have always been my favourite thing about my appearance.
Now, after a week of RapidLash, my lashes are slowly returning to their pre-extension glory. They look longer, and they seem to have their natural curl back. They can now hold mascara better as they seem to feel stronger and thicker, or more voluminous as RapidLash say. I have also noticed that I have only lost about 1 or 2 eyelashes since I began to use RapidLash.
I only realised when it came to sitting down and writing this post that I was applying RapidLash wrong. I was applying RapidLash to the base of my eyelashes by holding my eyelid up and applying it to the roots of my eyelashes, when in fact RapidLash recommend applying it to the base of the upper lashes, similar to the way you apply liquid eyeliner. Luckily, RapidLash say that I can do it my way, and after seeing noticeable results after one week of use, I am going to continue doing it my way.
The thing I found most tricky with RapidLash was remembering to use it everyday. I often forgot, and had to get out of bed once I remembered! I’m glad that I did, as I am so happy with the results I have seen so far.
I was a little bit of a cynic when it came to RapidLash. I honestly did not think it would work, or work as well as it has done. This could be the start of a lifetime purchase of RapidLash if I continue to see noticeable results like this.
I’m not going to go into too much detail about the ingredients and claims etc at this time. as I just wanted to share with you a quick post about my progress. I will however discuss those in more detail in my overall review. Look out for this post in about 3 weeks time (if I remember to remember!)
