Hello! As I blogged about my beauty favourites yesterday, I thought I would also talk about some skincare favourites. My last skincare favourites post was in April of this year, so it’s not as overdue as I thought.
L-R Bee Good 3 in 1 Cleansing Water | Soap & Glory The Fab Pore 2-in-1 Facial Mask and Peel | ESPA Optimal Skin ProSerum
The recent heatwave has really confused my skin, so I’ve been trying to take care of it whilst being gentle as possible. I have been using the Bee Good 3-in-1 Cleansing Water on a morning to gently cool and refresh my skin as I found Bioderma too clarifying. I was a little hesitant to start using it just in case there was some reactions (as my skin is ridiculously up and down at the moment) but luckily so far my skin is liking it.
A second appearance in my skincare favourites is the Soap & Glory 2-in-1 Facial Mask and Peel. Whilst I originally loved it for clearing up the congestion in my cheeks, I have been using it fairly regularly as it’s another product that is doing a great job of cooling and refreshing my skin as well as clearing out the oil and nasties that this heatwave has cursed upon me. LOVE!
A product I always reach for when my skin throws a hissy fit is the ESPA Optimal Skin ProSerum. This is just heaven in a bottle. Honestly, this oil does it all. Softens, brightens, hydrates, encourages healing… It seems to fix any skin problem I have almost overnight. I’ve had this deluxe sample quite a while now but it has lasted me a long time as you only need about 2-3 drops each use. I don’t use it on a morning but on a night I just love to massage it in and let it work it’s magic on my skin. I recently had a HUGE under the skin spot that was so painful and noticeable. I applied this with a mixture of the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+] and the next morning it had almost gone. Never leave me, ESPA!
What skincare products are you reaching for lately? Cooling sprays, mud masks…?
